Tom Jones Newark Concert reviews
He’s fantastic but…
Margo Price, I believe was her name, could not have been better. Her songs were boring and soulless and her shrill voice was like a mosquito in my ear. I can’t give five stars though because Tom displayed a level of talent (guitar and voice) one can only know by seeing him in person. The first was a short enough set and it was fun to hear some of Tom’s songs. He did a fantastic show, otherwise. Thank you for a disservice to Tom, I really felt it was. But she should come off his list of options. We watched the audience leave the arena in droves during her painfully long set. They did not return til she was done. His opening acts were painful to listen to. I’m guessing the changing dates made it hard to get his regulars.
